Things are really getting moving around here now! I will finish planting a few more items in the big hoophouse tomorrow. Some early tomatoes, swiss chard and kale. It’s getting close to time to begin planting some items in the field. The strawberries and asparagus will arrive Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. I chose the everbearing variety of strawberries so we will have the opportunity to have strawberries all year til around September instead of just a large amount of them in late June. It’s important to me to be able to offer a variety of items throughout the year on a weekly basis as much as possible. So anyways, I could use some help on Wednesday planting those items. Any volunteers?

It will be about 3 more weeks and there will be quite a bit of variety available. Lettuce, 3 kinds of radishes (red satin, icicle short top and watermelon), some baby spinach, marigold plants, cosmo plants, tomato and pepper plants, mustard, tatsoi, pac choi and fresh brown eggs. These items will be available on the stand and at Springville Auction/Farmer’s Market. If you check out our facebook page it is updated almost daily with items available on the roadside stand for that day/days.
