Another busy week! We have so much in the ground now it's exciting! Kale, sweet peas, turnips, 8 kinds of lettuce, cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli and onions. Everything in hoophouses are really coming to life now, just yesterday I noticed the beets and scallions have poked thru. And lots and lots of spinach!

We will have a lot of cut flowers to take to market this year, have transplanted some into the larger hoophouse, more as an experiment, but they are thriving just the same! It sure is looking to be a great season! Even the strawberries agree with their multiple green leaves.

Our baby bunnies are really moving around now, it's pretty darn cute watching them learn how to eat grass and use the water bottle. There are also 40 eggs in the incubator 7 of them are ducks and the rest are chickens. They will be sold as straight run in about a month once however many hatch are around 10 days old and no longer need an warming heat lamp.

Just a few more weeks and we will be at market, and definitely will have my delicious homemade jams and jellies once I receive a new home processing certification in the mail, it takes time. Otherwise we are ready! Just waiting on some warmer weather for things to grown, I'm anxious to get all the squash in the ground but alas it is just too chilly at night still, probably about 2 more weeks at the most.
